About The Owner
Gene Spires started roofing during his junior year of high school in 2003 for his father, who had taken over the company from his grandfather in 1996. His grandfather began the company in 1971.
He has been roofing all his life. He had a brief stint working for two roofing supply manufacturers, ABC Supply and Gulf Coast Supply, from 2009 to 2017.
He went back to work for his father in 2017 and took over the company in March 2023.
Gene is very involved in the local community. He is:
- On the board of the Children's Museum in Highlands County
- Part of the Booster Club for the Lake Placid Football Program
- Coach of the Middle School football team
